Growing ideas
the way I grow crops.
I'm Aminu Al-amin — an agricultural science student studying soil, systems, and the science behind food security, while building tools that make learning agriculture easier for students like me.
Vision & mission
Two ideas guide everything I study and build — one is where I'm headed, the other is how I get there.
A future where no farmer farms blind.
I want to see a Nigeria where every farmer — smallholder or commercial — has access to the same agronomic knowledge and data tools that the world's most productive farms use, so that yield is determined by skill and access, not guesswork.
Translate agricultural science into tools people actually use.
My mission is to bridge the gap between what's taught in agricultural science classrooms and what's practiced on real farms — by building accessible, well-designed digital tools that turn dense coursework and field knowledge into something students and farmers can use daily.
Aspiration & a few fun facts
I'm aiming to become an agricultural scientist and agritech founder who builds the systems Nigerian agriculture is missing — better data, better learning tools, better access. Here's a bit more about who I am along the way.
I study agricultural science by day and design / build software by night.
I built AgriLearn to solve my own struggle with scattered course material.
I care more about how calm a product feels than how many features it has.
Comparing soil types and comparing typefaces feel like the same problem to me.
What I love doing
The things that keep me curious, on campus and off it.
Fieldwork & soil studies
Getting hands-on with crop trials and soil samples — theory only sticks once I've seen it in the ground. It's where most of my best ideas for AgriLearn actually come from.
Building software
Designing and coding full-stack products, end to end.
Premium product design
Studying brands like Monzo and Wise for restraint.
Simplifying coursework
Turning dense lectures into structured study material.
Nigerian agriculture
Following how policy and climate shape what farmers can grow.
Projects & services
A mix of what I've built as a student founder, and what I can help with.
AgriLearn (Agri.ng)
An independent learning platform for Nigerian agricultural science students — course readers, quizzes, study groups, and a podcast, all built to make coursework easier to study and retain.
Academic content design
I convert lecture slides and PDFs into structured, readable study material — summaries, practice questions, and guided reading flows for specific courses.
Web design & front-end builds
Clean, premium interfaces for student projects, startups, and personal brands — from landing pages to full product UI.
Early-stage product builds
I help take a rough startup idea to a working first version — covering both the interface and the underlying logic.
